What is chitin? |
It is a well-known natural biopolymer found in
many organisms, including crustaceans, fungi and algae.
The chitin’ nanofibrils represents the
crystalline pure and part of chitin and are obtained from this
polysaccharide by an industrial method patented by MAVI Sud
worldwide.

What’s its activity
|
Well known for its numerous and interesting
biological properties chitin nanofibril is used to give more
efficacy to many active principles (lutein, melatonin, etc) used to
formulate anti-aging cosmetics. Moreover being similar to jaluronic
acid it is capable to link water at level of the skin cells,
maintaining moisture for at least 24 hours. |

compound?

It is about 250 nanometers long, i.e. 1 fourth of
a bacterium.
It is save to use?
Being recognized natural from the skin, chitin
nanofibril is used as energizing compound also.
